Breastfeeding, nature’s gift for infant growth and development

Exclusive breastfeeding (BF) is the best feeding option for infants under 6 months of age. After this age, complementary with other solid foods and liquids advised 1 to 2 years in addition breast milk or formula. It well established that BF has physical emotional health benefits both mother child, as it been demonstrated improves long-term neurological development, decreases incidence chronic diseases such obesity, stimulates immune system function children, while also reducing sleep deprivation mothers strengthening mother-child relationship.1
